Following the release of their acclaimed debut album Dacw Nghariad in 2024, The Julian Martin Trio have been turning heads with their original compositions and lyrical, offbeat takes on late 20th-century classics. For this special Brecon Jazz Festival performance, they’re joined by renowned trumpeter Ben Thomas, celebrated for his soulful, expressive playing and described as “electrifying” (Cheltenham Jazz Festival) and “a restlessly creative soul” (Ian Mann). Expect warmth, invention, and moments of pure musical connection.
